Two-way radio practice with EASA and ICAO phraseology. Make the call, the controller answers, and every transmission is checked: what you read back, what you missed, and what a good call sounds like.
Pick a scenario and talk to the controller by typing, or hold the PTT button (or the space bar) and speak. You are LN-NAE, a DA42 at Birdbird. Values like QNH and squawk change every time.
Fly any situation you like. The AI plays the controller, answers like real ATC and tells you after each call what to improve. It answers within a few seconds; keep calls short, like on a real frequency.
Route clearances. Clearances to enter, land on, take off from, cross, taxi on or backtrack a runway, and hold short of it. Runway in use, altimeter settings (QNH), squawk codes, levels, headings and speeds, transition levels and frequency changes. End the readback with your callsign.
Who you call, who you are, where you are, what you want. Example: “Birdbird Tower, LN-NAE, DA42, 10 miles south, 2000 feet, information Bravo, request joining for landing.”
Say “ready for departure”, not “ready for take-off” (take-off is used only in the clearance). Say “say again”, not “repeat”. Say “affirm”, not “yes” or “affirmative”. No “over and out”.
